Church Hill, TN - Not much caught during the First Game of the Double Header against Happy Valley on Friday, April 26th due to Weather Delays/Casualties. Out of what was caught during the game though, Bases were Loaded as Senior CF/P Connor Haynes (Committed to King University for Baseball) stepped up to the plate and hit out high above Right Field and OVER THE FENCE for Senior's First Career Out of the Park Home Run, and a Grand Slam of all things, leading the Falcons to a 15-0 Walk-off Victory... what a gift.

Starting off in the Top of the 1st Inning, Pitcher #20 Luke Armstrong getting all 3 outs on the Mound, also having 2 Walks and a HBP finishing 0-0. In the Bottom of the 1st, Senior SS #5 Isaiah Bowery with a Bunt for a Single, Junior 3B #7 Austin Williams getting on base with a walk, Junior DH #13 Anthony Blasini securing an RBI Single leading the end of the 1st Inning 1-0 Volunteer.

In the Top of the 2nd Inning, Pitcher Armstrong getting a Strikeout, Groundball thrown to 1B #21 Isaiah Ward, and catching a Pop-Fly. A little bit of a rough AB for the Falcons in the Bottom of the 2nd Inning with all 3 players getting struck out.

In the Top of the 3rd Inning, Fielding 2 Groundballs, 1 being a bunt getting thrown out, and Armstrong getting a Strikeout. Picking up the momentum in the Bottom of the 3rd Inning, Junior RF #3 Brycen Feagins getting a Double due to an Error from Happy Valley on 1st Base, later running in from an RBI Bunt Triple coming from Bowery, making it back-to-back Errors for Happy Valley. Austin Williams getting an RBI Single, then making the score 3-0. Then, Sophomore C #17 Greyson Dennis hit a Pop Fly finding a gap in the field, obtaining an RBI Single making the score 4-0 closing the 3rd Inning.

Pretty Quick Top of the 4th Inning for the Falcons with Armstrong getting 2 Strikeouts and fielding a Pop-Fly. In the Bottom of the 4th Inning, Ward hitting a Double, due to a Happy Valley Error, Feagins getting walked, Bowery with yet another RBI from a Bunt due to another Error from Happy Valley, making it his 3rd bunt of the night, and 2nd RBI of the night. Making the score 5-0 at the end of the 4th Inning.

Armstrong coming in to close from a Terrific Night on the mound. The Falcons ended up fielding 2 Pop-Fly's and Armstrong throwing a strikeout to secure the Senior Night 2nd Game of the Happy Valley Doubleheader. Overall, the Volunteer Falcons won 20-0 on the night. Falcons will face the West Ridge Wolves at Joey Seaver Field on Saturday, April 27th at 1pm, then will be heading into the District Tournament this upcoming week, more information to come. Volunteer advances to 15-13 Overall (6-6 Conference Play).
