New Website, Same Great Coverage

Welcome to the NEW Volunteer Sports Network Site

We've slowly started to realize the more that we grow as an organization, the importance of making sure everything we do is accessible to everyone in different ways. We've finally completed our new website and are happy to keep working hard to provide the best coverage we can for the athletes, students, and community of Volunteer High School. As we are still updating everything, you may see some old post popping up or some new features that may still have some kinks being worked out.

We wanted to give an update about some things we have going on over the next few months.

What are some of our plans for the rest of this athletic year?

While looking into the different things needed, we are brainstorming on everything we can do for the rest of the year. Fundraising, more media events, tons of sports coverage including broadcasting and articles, and so much more. We currently have a few student's at the school who spend time helping us make sure we have stats, pictures/videos (along with Melissa Gibson at Oh! MG Photography), and that we have some helping hands during games. In the next few weeks, we hope to be able to offer students the chance to be able to cover different sporting events - and sports related topics - for them to have the opportunities to create their own articles. Athletics coverage is our primary goal, but we have learned that we can also use our Network to provide students who may have an interest in Sport Related Functions an outlet to learn more and see what some of this is all about.

What can the community do to support us?

The outpour of support that we have received so far since August has been absolutely amazing. We did not anticipate us being able to grow the Network this fast but we have been able to do it with your help. You can continue to help us by liking, commenting, and sharing our posts on social media, inviting people to like our Facebook, Instagram, and subscribe to our YouTube. Both hosts and the producer work full time jobs, so all Sports Network duties are done during any free time we have. We provide free and accessible coverage to everyone and hope to keep it that way as long as possible. To help us be able to provide the best coverage possible, you can help by donating, purchasing shirts, participating in fundraisers, or reaching out to different business about helping sponsor us. All funds we get goes into travel funds, necessary subscriptions, equipment, and anything else needed for Volunteer Sports Network to grow.
